Re: Nikon D600 issues, real or imagined

Quite a lot of cameras have had similar problems through the years, from various manufacturers. Some cameras evidently are more dusty than others, and some get oil splattered on the sensor from the shutter mechanics. Personal experience I have, of both K-5, and D600, but in neither case I got upset, as close checking of all my other DSLRs, MILCs, and my compacts, have all have had dust problems, sooner, or later. With the compacts you have to give up, but with the other you have to keep an eye, and clean the sensors. As far as I know Canon have had even worse problems, at least according to my supplier ...

So I'll say real, but the problem is magnified out of proportion!
