Still it is only a rumor as of today, but probably this is  another reason why the K-01 was terminated so early.

It seems Asahi man tends to be right most of the time.

What does this have to do with the K-01?  The K-01 is an interchangeable lens camera, not a fixed lens.  This has nothing to do with the discontinued K-01.


Having the K-01 available "could" make people hesitant about buying a fixed lens APS-C camera

That would be typical Pentax marketing then  Maybe they should have talked to Fuji.
