Same question for you that I asked earlier in this thread.  How do you know the channel has been blown?

If any channel is blown, then it cannot be really repaired in post processing--data has been lost that cannot be recreated.

That's why uni-WB and neutral camera settings are so important to some of us.

You are right. It could also be a processing error.

In any case, I have no axe to grind here, no need to prove my way of shooting is better.
