You have to remember entry level Sony does NOT have a touch screen, even the 3n, which is pretty rough.  Hopefully they give this a touchscreen, but who knows.

You're right! I'd totally forgotten about iFn because I also never use it (I remember thinking it sounded great before I bought an NX100 but then I found you have to press the iFn button first then rotate the dial, well it's just quicker to rotate one of the dials directly on the main body). iFn combined with a touchscreen should work fine for entry level models. I think it likely the NX2000 will have the touchscreen because those images (if accurate) feature a home button.
