interval 30s timer with 1 sec pause

I had good results with. . .

I had good results using Continuous Low frame setting and a remote shutter release "locked on".   I used a shutter speed of 30 second, for me no NR was needed.  I did not want the gap in the strar trails that a delay, even one of 1 second between the shoots.

Also you need to know your battery life, I had about 80% on my D-700 and got less than one hour before the battery was dead,  so I will next time I will use the two fully charged batteries in my MB-D10 Multi-PowerBattery Pack (well, I have a cheap copy of the Nikon one)   I was using a D700 with the 17 to 35 f2.8.  At  f 2.8.
