Many reasons

Professional 35mm gear is dirt cheap. Grab a Nikon F5 and youve got a great camera.

For me, I use it for large format 4x5 a fair bit...mainly for B&W.  Ilford FP4 in PMK Pyro.  For engagement sessions and portraiture, I like it because of the workflow.  The new Portra 400 and 160 are awesome. Shoot it, drop it off, load the scans online.  Done.  No post processing.  Big time saver.  There's the retro issue as well.  I've been getting asked more for 4x5 and other films for portraits.  My RB67 sees way more use now than it did 5 years ago.

The main reason?  Because my clients like the look, and I like the experience.
