Swiss sunrise lens choice

I will be specifically doing sunrise and sunsets when in Switzerland in a couple of months. Assumiong my family stop breaking things I will have 6D otherwise it will be the 7D.

I have two lenses that can be used 16-35 mk ! and the efs 17-55 on the 7D.

I know from experience on APS-C cameras the 16-35 suffers bad flare between 16 and 19mm even with hood on.

Other lenses I will be taking are 50 1.4 100 2.8L and 135 f2 L regardless of body.

What lens would people recommend to do the Alps sunrise and sunset from up in the Alps?

Thank you for your advise in advance.
