Samsung NX30 vs 45 vs SMCP 50mm field of view

So some people think the 45mm is an odd focal length.  It isn't really, I measured it at 48mm at 1:53 magnification (probably where you would be using it for a portrait), making it a slightly wide 50mm.  Most 50mm lenses are closer to 53mm or so, so still about 10% wider, but I have heard the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 is closer to 47mm (I haven't measured this, just what I have read) so it really is right in the ballpark of where a 50mm should be.  Being a wide 50mm is nice for me.

The outside framing is the 30mm, the first green line is the 45mm, and the inner line is an old Pentax 50mm f/1.7, which is closer to 53mm if I recall.  The chart is about 40x60" (1016x1524mm).  My point here is that the 30 and 45 are a nice distance apart and won't be confused which one to use most of the time.  Test to follow in a few days.
