Any monitor tips?
I was trying to get a monitor for a computer and noticed you can just use HDMI and a TV.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to just using TVs instead of the monitors? Any good tips on buying a monitor? I saw that Dell has some monitors:
Dell Ultra Sharp Ultra wide 29 inch $700 (2560 x 1080) $700
Dell 27 inch LED (1920 x 1080 max.) in a 16:9 widescreen format.) $310
Also, Amazon has TV's like this one that could plug into a computer:
Samsung UN32EH4003 32-inch 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) $280
I'm just doing basic computer work - not gaming or anything crazy. But I do like a pretty nice display.
Are the Dell monitors good prices or is it best to look elsewhere?
Probably looking @ 27-32 inch screen.
