Re: Sigma 19 or 30 for Landscapes

I got the 30mm at full price (then $199) before my Utah road trip last year and felt it was worth every penny. I liked the slightly wide normal viewing angle and the astounding sharpness for landscapes. Even after getting the SEL24 and various legacy 28s and 35s, the Sigma 30 . I also found myself doing most of my sweep panoramas with the 30 as I found it was usually a bit too much with wider lenses.

I finally just picked up the 19mm for $99. That's an absolute no-brainer at that price IMHO. So is the closeout deal of both for $199 for anyone wanting to explore the benefits of using prime lenses for landscape shots.
