I used to be a fairly active member over at Lomography.com but over time things changed. I wrote a blog post about it if anyone is interested.
I know 'lomography' can be derided by people outside of the community but in the beginning I enjoyed the quirky cameras and the excuse to fill up my fridge with film again. Unfortunately I feel it has become what some others believed it already was; a marketing machine for over-priced cameras and a gallery for uninspiring photos passed of as art.
It is a shame because some of their stuff is fun to use (I still like the Supersampler to this day) and some members do produce some nice looking images but that's the minority sadly.
