Hmmm - that's not really the case. His compact Casio is relatively modern but just not good enough in terms of IQ. Of course, it has a tiny sensor and it gets left on Auto ISO. Anything above ISO400 is basically trash. In fact, the really old Fuji does better in low light - it produces 12mp files somehow and is really quite impressive considering it's age and spec, but it's had it's day.

Another thing to add to the list - good low light capability.
