Re: Thinking of selling my EOS for Fuji X

I made the switch from a EOS 60D and am glad I did it.  For me it was the weight factor.

The LCD is just fine.  Focusing doesn't seem as quick as the Canon.  EVF is no match for OVF of the Canon. I've used the Fuji X-E1 for a few months now and the EVF takes getting used to.  Side light has to be blocked by your hand if you wear glasses.

This is a very manual centric camera and I find it was easier to change settings on the Canon while shooting even though all the manual settings are within reach and visible in the EVF/LCD.

Bottom line is, it takes better and cleaner images then the canon and is lighter. I have the 18-55 lens and it is smooth as silk in operation.  Much has been made of tracking action and it is not up to my canon but with practice you can do a lot.  I took some kite surfers this weekend who were moving really fast with no problem.

Try it out for a week if you're unsure.

PS My canon goes on the block when I get the 55-200 mm lens
