Why isnt DPR's studio test scene enough for this purpose?

Sometimes, they don't even get the exposures identical.

They run the tests at Default settings, which may or may not be the camera's best settings for the specific subject.

They do not offer the range of various shadows that a landscape can provide, or that I can set up in a studio scene with cross lighting.

You can download their RAW files and play shadow lifting yourself to see how well it handles them.

I trust my own work, and I enjoy playing with cameras . . . .

But arent you asking for other people to post their test shots?

What I am saying is DPr's studio test scene is better controlled than any forumers can come up with. if you want IQ comparison, no forumers will provide you with better images.
