Looking forward to seeing your real world comparison between these cameras.

Sure I did a print in A2 of two photos from the 5D III and 24-70 f/2.8L IS II at 70mm f/8 and D800E and 70-200 f/2.8VRII at 70mm f/8 and looking very closely there is not to my eyes a difference you would be able to spot. Looking at 1:1 in Lightroom there is visible more resolution from the D800E of course, but this corresponds to a huge print. I have an Epson 3880 for my prints and A2 or super A2 is the largest print possible. Printing larger (e.g. A0) you would also view such a print from a bit further away and probably be hard pressed to see the difference, but that's just my guess since I haven't tried. In reality it's only photographers who would go up close to a print and examine it, isn't it?

Thanks Hans. You're the person I trust and admire in your real world experiences and photography work from these cameras and lenses

Thanks Btw. the Canon print was at 264PPI and the Nikon 338PPI. I have done a similar test with files from the Phase One IQ160 and also here I saw no difference worth speaking of. So a much larger print would be needed to see the differences.
