Smart marketing?

Interesting on Nikon's own site they only mention improvements to AF-C. Why do they have to lie? Why not just say both are improved?

It is not unusual for firmware in general (not just cameras) to have hundreds of small bugs removed.  Often these bugs are not noticed, but the firmware team know about them and fixed them.  Sometimes they chase a bug that generates customer complaints (say - AF-C), and feel the need to mention this so those customers know to upgrade.  But sometimes those bug fixes improve something else (like AF-S) that nobody notices until it gets to the field.

I'm sure very few people are interested in the details of every single bug fix - and I doubt Nikon is interested is adding to the workload of their programmers to document all this for consumers.  So it is reasonable for Nikon to share some of the improvements (especially those that generate customer complaints) but not all.

Besides - it might be really smart marketing on their part to let us all find and share the improvements.
