Good judgment comes from experience
Experience comes from bad judgment

More useful in a mirrorless camera that takes manual lenses...or that lenses become manual focus on.  For example, many people use "legacy" lenses on their m43 cameras...old Pentax, Minolta...zoom and focus peaking are a great benefit with them.

I find focus peaking makes finding critical focus faster, but not necessarily more accurate.  For accuracy  high zoom level works better.
