Re: Does anyone shoot action with a Sony SLT?

I use the A-77.  As noted by many above, it can be done, but is more difficult for most folks using an SLT.  When tracking a moving subject (like BIF), after about three to five frames, the location of the subject in the EVF appears at a different place than reality.  With practice, I suppose you can get used to it, but it is still more difficult than with OVF IMO.  I mostly feel like my successful shots are more luck than skill, but I don't get many opportunities for BIF, so don't get much practice.

Buffer filling will cause FPS rate to slow down dramatically, but the faster cards now available (95mbs read/write) will keep this problem to a minimum.  If you need more than about 20 frames in one burst, you might want to look elsewhere.

Question: What do you do all week?
Answer: Mon to Fri. Nothing, Sat & Sun I rest!
