Yes all three are FX glass. The Tamron "NIKON" version has not been rated yet by DXOMARK. The nikon version did take longer to come out and I would not base a purchase on the canon rating. My two tamrons both backfocus on all three of my nikons (during focal test) and need the most adjustment. Not saying that this is the case with this lens but that you cant use canon ratings to apply to nikon.

I do not think the current model Nikon 70-200 VR II f/2.8 has not  been tested yet by DxOmark either. They are using the 2002 VRI version in their tests.

They have tested the Canon version.  How different would it be with Nikon version?

I was referring to Nikon's 70-200 f/2.8 offerings, not the Sigma or Tamron offerings in Nikon mount. I believe DxO uses the Nikon 70-200 VR I released in 2002 in their comparison tests. This lens was replaced by Nikon with the VR II version in 2009, generally felt to be a superior lens. I was suggesting that the difference between the Nikon and the Sigma/Tamron options may be greater than one would see from the DxO tests which used the discontinued Nikon version.

If you are referring to proprietary lenses, I do not think you can assume test results on a Canon lens and a Nikon lens are interchangeable for comparison purposes with a third party lens.

Sigma does make some excellent lenses. I have the 85 f/1.4 which is close to the G in many respects, and the 35 f/1.4 which equals or exceeds the G. I have no experience with the Sigma/Tamron 70-200's though.

Whichever you choose, enjoy your new lens!
