And  it is very true. I don't understand why some people bully this little guy. I also have a very positive experiences about E16-50 lens.

Speaking as a non-Sony owner, I notice in other forums that there is a tendency to trash kit lenses and immediately point to third party lenses as better. It's kind of amusing that the same people who think Brand S or N or C makes great cameras immediately point to third parties as making better lenses.

Maybe kit lenses used to be awful. They aren't anymore, in my experience. I thought from the posted samples that the Sony lens did a better job than the Tokina.
