Nothing wrong with Flickr either, as you can have a free account (with a limit of 200 images), and a Pro account for something like $25.00 per year.

If you want to be more serious with your objectives, then a site of your own is a good idea.

To add to Colin's comment, the nice thing about a site of your own is you can lock the photos so they can't be downloaded. Facebook and Flickr don't have that option (as far as I know).
