Photo Ninja and/or Nik Collection?

I am s-l-o-w-l-y getting to use more post-processing software, but i am still very much a newbie with the software. I have been using Lightroom to adjust and manage my photos. A recent thread in the Canon 5d forum has pretty much convinced me that Photo Ninja does a better first approximation on raw conversions than Lightroom does. I also see that the Nik collection is being sold at $126.65 through April 2nd.

My questions are these:

What do experienced users think of Photo Ninja?

What do experienced users think of the Nik plugin collection?

Is it worth having both to learn how to use, or are they significantly redundant or difficult to use together in practice (e.g., both have noise reduction)?

Thanks for your help.
