Exactimo. Mirrorless is also going dodo like dslrs because of cellphones picking up on IQ.

What would be the reason of getting mirrorless when cellphones would do the same in much much more smaller package.

Give another 10-15 years for say cell phone type devices to be good enough. In those 10 - 15 years , at least another 5-7 years dslrs are here.

The day a cell phone can get a good pic of an Osprey in full dive, or that end zone catch is the day I put my hobby aside.

unfortunately for you, it does not matter what you like to have in camera. What matters is what masses want to have in their camera. If portablitiy is what they want and if cellphones provide that, thats the future.

I doubt there are many cellphone users who want to mess with lens changes, shutter speed/aperture/iso/etc etc.... they want to just point and shoot...
