One advantage = Aperture

With a Mac, you have another option for an A-Z editing, organizing and non-destructive RAW processing tool besides Lightroom, and that is Aperture. LR and Aperture are close competitors with similar, but not identical, feature sets and very different user interfaces. I prefer Aperture for its clean, intuitive and non-modal interface. I run a high-volume event and portraiture business entirely through Aperture, with almost no need for Photoshop. Apple sells it through the online App Store for a measly $80.
