Try a test....

Put your Nex on a tripod, or set it on a table that won't move, and take a picture of a well lit subject that won't be moving.  Focus manually with the focus assist magnifier. Use the self timer so you aren't touching the camera when it fires. Do the same with your Canon and Panasonic if you want comparison.

Your pictures really aren't good comparisons.  The Canon and Panasonic are both using strobes which will "freeze" any subject and camera movement.  You probably have an effective shutter speed of at least 1/500 of a second.  The Sony is at 1/125 on a 75mm equivalent lens.  That plus IS is enough to eliminate camera shake 'most'of the time but still leaves room for subject movement.  When shooting birds, I like to see shutter at 3x the lens length to totally eliminate camera and subject movement.

Also, the Panasonic is known to  have a really sharp lens and at f5.6, with its small sensor, everything from about 2 feet to Montana will be in focus.

For warmth, make sure your WB is set to Cloudy.  AWB can sometimes be cool.
