How much is expensive lens for you??

What you consider expensive is likely directly related to disposable income.

If you earn a living through photography, then the consideration should be will the lens pay for itself in a reasonable period of time- actual cost should not matter.

My most expensive lens was the 12-60mm.  that was around $800 new... that was my limit, but I justified the cost because it saved me from needing a second lens (11-22)

$400 is more my normal limit though.

Next lens?  Possibly the 17/1.8... Also considered the 60 macro, but that lens seems a bit short, so I mat just pick up a set of extention tubes instead.  I'd like the 75/1.8, but having trouble justifying the cost.  Now if Oly came out w a micro version of the 12-60, that could well jump to the top of the list if it's enough under a grand.
