Oh yeah, a couple more things that you might not find in other reviews.

First off, TG-1 (and likely, TG-2 also) set their zoom to the widest position whenever you turn the camera off, and keep it at 25mm when you turn it back on.  So the camera gently "nudges" you towards the wide angle.

(Pentax, AFAIK, allows you to choose whether or not the camera will remember the zoom setting when you turn it off and on again).

Another thing:  Aside from the ND filter turning on in bright sunshine, the camera is almost always wide-open, but the maximum aperture goes down very quickly as you zoom.  The end result is, changing the zoom setting is pretty much equivalent to setting the aperture.
