I agree with your skepticism of people not posting their website while claiming to be a pro. The fact is I had several and I have dumped them all. Nobody visited - I'd get 2 hits per day, if that so I junked the websites. They'd been optimized. They'd been up for several years. They just weren't working for me so I killed the expense. Same with the Yellow Pages - 3 years and nothing so I canned the YP this year.

I'm seriously considering having an exhibition at the local library. I will have to take a trip there whenever I'm not working and they're open. I need to find out what kind of space I can have and whether I can display prints that are matted but not framed. I can get 8x10 mattes really cheaply from the dollar store. I wouldn't mind betting a few will become fiver-finger discounts.

The days of my spending a ton on advertising are over since it doesn't actually seem to work for me.
