Finally! a battery that works. J1
The third time's a charm. I found a cheap battery that works and lasts as long as the oem battery that came with the camera. The first battery was a dud. Charger blinked and refused to charge it. The second battery would run out too quickly and seemed to charge too fast on the charger as if it was not fully charging up. I got my money refunded for both.
Next, I tried a "Power2000" labeled battery I saw at Cameta Camera for 11 or 12 dollars. It has been working great (so far). I've had it three weeks and took it on a vacation to Fla. After a few charges, it give good runtime and lasts long on a charge.
I have no connection with Cameta Camera, but they had a good price. I thought I'd share. It may be easier just to buy the Nikon oem battery, but at $30+, I wanted to find a cheaper solution.
