I'm not saying its not a capable camera - heck if it has the D7000 performance with a D300(s) type AF, it's probably the best thing that DX can deliver.

But as a D7000 owner, I'm sure I will skip the D7100 because the upgrade would bring only marginal improvements. Actually, I think I will wait for a D600 replacement.
