I think it's hard to expect anything higher/better than this from APS-C, that's the truth, except if one revolutionizes the sensor tech, which does not seem viable at the moment.

And most people will never actually reach the 14EV of DR or the extra color depth these cameras allow for. It's just beyond most (including mine) people's abilities.
