Video Head for Gitzo GT0531 and NEX-6
New to the site. I've read many threads and reviews here - great stuff!
Looking for advice regarding a video head.
My current setup: NEX-6 with 16-50 kit lens and 24mm Zeiss. Gitzo GT0531 tripod. Am going to get the new Sony external microphone. I am thinking about fitting the Gitzo with a ReallyRightStuff BH-25 head with lever release, but I want something that will be good for video too. Can't figure out which lightweight video head will work.
My goals: Video and stills from backpacking trips. Also family trips with the kids. About 1/2 of my backcountry trips are solo and I am frustrated with crappy fly fishing videos taken by placing a camera or iphone on a tree stump. I enjoy making iMovie productions with a mix of stills and video.
Does RRS make a good lightweight head that is great for both stills and video, or is there a better option?
