I always say this next camera is my last upgrade but I find the increases in image quality keep tempting me

I know what you want to say, but actually you'll give in to marketing.
Not because you need that new camera, but because these camera manufacturers know how to seduce you to buy one.

The question is what makes you upgrade?

- Is the megapixels?
- Is it the ISO performance
- Is it DR
- Is it WiFi
- Is it a touch screen
- Is it the placement of the buttons

For many people different items make them want to upgrade.
Speaking for myself I (at this moment in time) just don't see the need for more MP's. DR of the D800 is already pretty good, ISO performance is good up to 12800 ISO. Who goes further than 3200 under 'normal' conditions?
I think there isn't much to ask for anymore, now digital DSLR's become mature products.
Sure Wifi would be nice, but then again. Is that a need, or just a want?
