I am using this lens as my walk around lens on a crop sensor camera (Canon 60D)...

So far so good with this lens, image quality is Okay, not as Sharp as I expected (I need to do some post production on each photo), Vignetting is not noticeable (May be because of the crop), also colour fringing is not an issue (also may be the same reason) but if I look carefully at the edges I notice a hint of fringing happening...

On a crop sensor - especially that I love taking photos of landscapes - this lens is not so wide 28*1.6=45mm which is not bad but not that great for indoors (Which it was wider)

I wonder how it will perform on a full frame! Should there be any fringing or vignetting I might change to one of the 24-70 (Not right away of course $$$$ issue :))

Bokeh is nice not creamy enough like the 70-300 USM IS II that's also in my gear but it's acceptable and despite those are 6 blades, I actually see full rounded Bokeh balls!

Overall... It's much better than buying a Kit lens if you are thinking about an upgrade in the future...

The 28-135f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is a kit lens. I got one with a 40D. Just saying.

FYI- it works alright on a FF body, but it does not get any sharper.
