Is this something I should worry about?

If it happens again, I would be worried.

There is a red line above and beside the smoke stack on the right side of the image, I havent noticed anything like it in any of my other D7100 images. Could it be atmospheric conditions or heat coming from the smoke stack? I dont know what it is and don't want to jump to any conclusions, so far I'm lovin the D7100. Thanks for looking.

What lens is this? I tried to follow the link in your signature to find out but it is currently broken. At 100%, there's siginficant hand-shake artifacts. Not sure how DPR's EXIF facilities work, but if this is the true FL, the equivalent is 165mm. The shutter speed used wouldn't be near enough, at least in my hands, to produce sharp images at larger sizes.

My 14-24G produces all kinds of flaring on sunny days, but this day appears mostly overcast. Yeah, I'd be concerned if it happens again.
