This one was ISO1600 under low light conditions - and heavily PP:d in LR, not at least sharpness and clarity. From a JPG to make it even worse. It accenturates the noise in the blurred background but even then I find this pic pretty sharp and free of noise, despite the harsh PP:

I believe a 24mp crop-camera without AA-filter is a bit demanding to use but handled right it could be very rewarding. I would never use RAW without PP in Lighroom or a sismilar professional PP-software. I always do some PP no matter what camera I use. Its a natural part of enthusiast and professional photography, just as the dark room work was during the age of film.
