For me, it isn't a question of m4/3 *or* FF: it's m4/3 *and* FF (when a mirrorless FF finally comes out).

M4/3 is the perfect everyday and travel/trekking kit, while FF would be for those situations when size & weight are less important than than top quality.

I have a very nice collection of legacy prime lenses (many Leica and Zeiss) which theoretically could be adapted to a Canon 5Dx, but:

1) I truly, viscerally dislike Canon (many reasons, don't ask!)

2) Some of my favorite lenses (mostly wides) would require a mirror shave in order to be used

3) There seem to be exposure issues with adapted lenses

So I'm hopefully waiting for a mirrorless FF as a second, "large format" system.
