Might be a silly question but, concerning RAW vs Jpeg when cropping

Hi all.  I am trying to figure out the way to get the most from my current equipment.  E620, standard 2 kit lenses and 75-300mm.

Simple question.  If my focus is sharp and technique is good, will I have more "usable" pixel information for a image crop by shooting in RAW rather than Jpeg.  I understand most of the advantages of RAW over jpeg, but was wondering specifically for cropping.

Thanks in advance
