Too bad you're so far away...we're having a big week-long star party next month at our local dark-site (Chiefland Astronomy Village). There will probably be 100+ scopes on the fields.

On the other hand: One of our founding members, Tom Clark, has recently moved to the New Mexico Astronomy Village...and he has a 42" scope! (Yes, you read that right!).                    Makes my 28" look puny!

The new site is between Silver City and Deming, just off of Highway 180. He loves visitors...you should go visit!
