Q with Tamron M118FM16 CCTV Lens
I picked up this lens on ebay ($80.00). All images were shot in raw and imported into Lr were they were converted to jpeg. No adjustments were made to exposure, contrast, etc. Sharpness and NR set at zero. I might have misfocused slightly on a few and certainly the photos were not taken for the subject matter, rather just to get a first impression on the lens.
As expected, rather soft at f/1.4 but useable in certain circumstances IMO. F/2 looks pretty good as does f/4. I didn't stop down further at this point. Focus to infinity was not an issue, no spacer/shim was used. The exif data showing the correct aperture should be attached to the images below.
I have one more lens coming, a Fuji 12.5-75mm f/1.2. Once i receive the lens I'll post some samples if anyone is interested.
