Having bought the Canon EOS 650D a few months ago I am dismayed to discover Canon have stopped producing it and released a 700D already. Having looked at the specs of both cameras I can't see any difference and apparently people are saying the only changes are "a slightly different case and a small firmware upgrade". Was there a problem with the 650D and if so can this be fixed? Is it really worthwhile upgrading already?

Thanks, Louise

Louise,  when it comes to cameras, especially the Rebel , you can count on a new one once a year but not necessarily every 12 months.  Usually you will see the previous model being sold next to the current one too.

There is nothing wrong with your 650D. Just enjoy your camera. It doesn't stop working when a new model comes out. It is still a great camera and very much like the 700D.
