Personally I would have a CPL on for most of my shots, but that's me. IMO a CPL would be an absolutely necessary accessory. All I can say is "try it" and you be the judge.

Remember, it's not the CPU that's in your camera that makes great images, it's the one located about 4" behind the viewfinder that does.
