EOS 100 D vs OMD and 620

EOS 100 D - 117x91x69 weight 407g 18-55mm STM 205 g Total: 612g

620 - 134x94x60 weight 475g 14-42mm 190g Total: 665g

OMD - 122x89x43 weight weight 425g 14-42mm II  112g Total: 537g

410 - 130x91x53 weight 435g 14-42mm 190g Total:  625g

T5i 133x100x79 weight 580g 18-55mm STM 205 Total: 785

It seems that with the EOS 100D likely of fairly similar performance to the EOS M and hence pretty similar to the OMD (DXO Mark 65 vs 71 - noise, colour depth and ISO performance roughly similar, OMD DR 1 stop better at base ISO) Canon has nullified the weight advantage of 4/3rds and come pretty close to doing the same to u4/3rds. Granted there may be other advantages of the OMD over the EOS 100D but likely not for the older E bodies.  Progress is to be expected from the competition.

Now what Olympus?
