Frankly it's nonsense and insulting to claim that some people here don't care about anything than technique. It's fairly evident that this is not the case. These recent threads are about what and how to teach people to make better photos by improving their exposure. It's the craft of the art, and understanding your tool better allows for you to express your creativity better, but I've seen no one claim that good technique is the end goal of photography.

Maybe you didn't read my entire post.

I enjoy technique and arts, and my post was about the importance of technique for arts.

Maybe I misunderstood you then. If so, my apologies.

Or maybe my english is not good enough, my apologies too.

Those threads about exposure are a great source of learning.

My small rant was more general about the forum. I often seen fantastic pictures that were denigrated by some people just because there was a hint of blown highlights or some noise.
