MX-1 quick test

I only had 5 minutes available to test the MX-1 at the camera store.

Outside was raining, dark clouds and a bit windy...just the right settings to test a camera!

Not having enough time and to make the trip to the shop not a waste of time i set the camera on auto and fired a few snap shots to see what it could do on its-own.

I was surprised by the way the camera brightened the shots compared to real life.

The camera feels heavy and robust, nice to handle and quite fast to focus.

The shots were all taken hand held and they are all straight out of the camera.

I personally think the camera performed very well considering the conditions...

One very important thing I noticed is that the default sharpness setting is a bit high. I tried to reduce the sharpness by only one click in Fotofiltre and, to me, the image looked a lot better.

The real scene here was quite dark

Check out the red roof tile in the background at full size! Great in my opinion!
