Bias: a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment

First you put quotes around words that Ming Thein didn't say and then said he had said them.

Now you're quoting half of a dictionary definition, and only the second, less important half of it, while leaving the first half off. Here's the whole definition that you should have kept intact:

Bias: an inclination of temperament or outlook; especially : a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment : prejudice

The part after 'especially' is a clarification, a secondary and less important part of the definition than the part you left out.

I left out, "a line diagonal to the grain of a fabric; especially " too.

So let's use the first definition you mention. "Outlook" (which means "point of view").

You think he was saying his review was not his personal "outlook/point of view"? Hmmm. That is even worse.

Were you not taught how to use a dictionary? You can't pick a single word out of a dictionary definition and act like that's the whole definition. You also can't pick half of one of multiple definitions and claim that's the definition.

You need to pick at least one FULL definition and go with that.

Bias : an inclination of temperament or outlook; especially : a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment : prejudice

That is a full definition, and it is not the same as an 'opinion'.

Simple.As.That.
