Lens or body issue?

I don't have neither EM5 or the PL25 mm lens. However, I think a different camera body might be the answer as well.

I have bad experience on AF in low light with my E-PM1, but my GH1 has no issues whatsoever. I think the main difference is that if a Panasonic body cannot focus, it will automatically select a larger focus area. This will reduce the non-focus situations to maybe 20%. Does EM5 have this feature? Also it would be worth knowing what you mean by very low light. I guess it will be very hard for any camera to AF, if you use a tripod and exposure times of several seconds.
