Sounds like you need to realise this is NOT a DSLR!

Now i know you won't like these, as it's your MO with this camera. However, this will give those considering purchase some FACTS, not some opinion. They can see photo's from both cameras and use them as research for their shortlist of cameras.

These shots don't bother me in the least, but I think they might benefit from a higher DR range setting, ala the HS20 and 30. I love the ergonomics of the HS20 so much I bought two of 'em, but kept neither due the constant concern for settings and lack of IQ sharpness.

From what I've seen and read so far, the 50 appears to be a vast improvement over the 20, though I don't think we're going to see its best until you guys figure out which settings it likes the most.

Really appreciate your contributions -- both in content and tone.
