Coming from the D90 I was surprised to find nailing focus is more of an effort for me on the D200...as far as I can tell it's my technique and not the camera to blame, but it had me checking my VR was working and that I didn't have backfocus with my 70-300VR.

I noticed that ISO is all over the map. Were you shooting auto-ISO?
