I don't think it is that. Somehow, they must believe/suggest that Phase One takes advantage of photographers by telling them they are getting ISO 100 when "real ISO" (the way these folks perceive it) is 29.

I prefer 'Objective ISO' as opposed to arbitrary. The Phase One requires almost two stops more light to gather the same information as the Em5 . That's one thing that 29 vs 107 tells you.
